Beneficiary review log — this does not change any designation

Beneficiary Review Checklist

What the provider holds, what you would rather it said, and what is still to ask — kept in three separate places, because they are three separate things.

Local tool — nothing here reaches any provider

InputReviewExport

This checklist does not change any beneficiary designation. Nothing typed here is sent to a bank, an insurer, a pension or an employer, and nothing here updates a form. Only the provider can change what the provider holds, and only you can ask them.
Why this is a separate exercise from a will. Many accounts and policies pass on the provider’s own records — a nomination, a designation, a payable-on-death instruction — and how those interact with a will differs from country to country and product to product. Which is why the only reliable answer to “who is on this account?” is the one the provider gives you.
Recorded so you can raise it with someone qualified there. It changes nothing on this page.
How amounts are shown back to you.

Accounts and policies to review

Use a name you would recognise, not a full account number. Keep what the provider currently holds apart from what you would like it to be — the two fields never overwrite each other, which is the whole point of the exercise.

Shares, if you have them written down

Optional. Primary and contingent are checked as two separate groups for each account, because a contingent share is not a top-up for a primary one. A total of 100 is arithmetic — it is not a check that the designation is valid or that it will be honoured.

Review log

Written to be usable anywhere. Estate law differs by country and often within one — the Philippines, the United States and everywhere else each have their own rules about what a document must look like, who must inherit, and how an estate is settled. So nothing in these tools changes based on where you are. The country you record is context to raise with a professional there, and the words below are the ones you may meet, not a statement of what applies to you.
What a review date here is, and is not

A review date is a date you chose. It is not a legal deadline, nothing expires when it passes, and this page will not email you, notify you or run anything in the background — there is no server here to do it. Put it in your own calendar if you want a reminder.

The status is your own account of where you have got to. “Reviewed by user” means you looked, not that anything was confirmed correct by anyone.

Where a conflict shows up between what a provider holds and what a will says, this page reports both and resolves neither. Which one prevails is decided by the law that applies and by the product’s own terms, and that is a question for someone qualified where you live.
